深空探测领域人工智能技术应用综述

摘要:
深空探测活动已然成为当前航天活动的热点,各航天机构及SPACEX等民营航天公司均在推进宏大的深空探测任务规划。然而深空探测任务的复杂性、时间燃耗等多种约束、过远距离所带来长达数十分钟到数十小时的时延,是深空探测活动无法回避的困难。传统的星地大回路深空探测器控制策略,限制了深空探测任务的效率,无法适应深空探测规划的需求。人工智能技术(AI)的应用尤其是最近十年来深度学习技术的发展为深空探测器智能的提升带来希望。本文首先分析了深空探测活动对AI技术的主要需求,随后详述了最近20年来AI技术在深空测控网、深空探测任务规划、深空探测器智能控制等深空探测领域的应用现状,最后提出了未来深空领域AI技术的应用趋势与挑战。

The Application of Artificial Intelligence in Deep Space Exploration

Abstract:
Deep space exploration has become a hotspot of current space activities, and space agencies and private space companies such as SPACEX are promoting magic plans of deep space exploration. However, the complexity of deep space exploration mission, long trip, fuel consumption and other constraints, the community delay of tens of minutes to tens of hours caused by too long distance, are difficulties for deep space exploration activities. The traditional control strategy of deep space probe is satellite-ground loop, which limits the efficiency of deep space exploration mission and can not meet the needs of future deep space exploration planning. The application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), especially the development of deep learning technology in recent ten years, maybe improve the intelligence of deep space probe. Firstly, the main requirements of deep space exploration for AI technology is analyzed in this paper, and then the application of AI technology in deep space exploration such as deep space TT&C network, deep space exploration mission planning and intelligent control of deep space detectors in the last 20 years is presented. Finally, the application trend and challenges of AI technology in deep space exploration in the future are promoted.
