面向月球资源勘查的月岩及岩粉存储装置设计

Design and Testing of Lunar Rock and Regolith Storage Device for Moon Resource Exploration

  • 摘要: 针对探月四期月球资源勘查任务,提出一种月球岩块及岩粉存储装置并对其性能进行了试验研究。因受到重量和结构尺寸等约束,装置采用了单电机驱动锁紧机构完成存储筐压紧与解锁,同时实现暂存杯辅助存储岩石粉末并翻转弃样。基于月球岩块存储筐锁释及岩粉暂存装置设计存储筐筐口与暂存杯结构,开展装置的功能试验,验证所设计的装置能够实现岩块存储、岩粉辅助采样与倾倒等功能,通过试验证明单电机能够实现存储筐的锁紧与释放功能,同时能够驱动暂存杯翻转弃样。该设计可为月球资源勘查任务中的岩块采集、存储与分析舱外载荷设计提供参考。

     

    Abstract: Lunar rocks contain abundant information about the Moon and are of critical value for lunar resource exploration. This paper presents a storage device for lunar rock blocks and regolith, and experimental studies are conducted to evaluate its performance. Due to constraints in weight and structural dimensions, the device adopts a single-motor-driven locking mechanism to achieve the clamping and release of the storage basket, while also enabling the temporary storage cup to assist in regolith collection and sample discarding through tilting. Based on the design of the rock block storage basket’s locking/release mechanism and the regolith temporary storage cup, functional tests are carried out to verify that the device can perform rock block storage, regolith sampling assistance, and sample disposal. The experiments demonstrate that the single motor can successfully achieve the locking and release of the storage basket while simultaneously driving the tilting motion of the temporary storage cup for sample discarding. The research findings can provide a reference for the design of extravehicular payloads related to rock collection, storage, and analysis in future lunar resource exploration missions.
